Viral, rising bile
Viscous, static lethargy
Churning malady

Clench teeth tightly
Keep what's inside from the world
Sweat gathers moistly

Roiling, burning pit
Should not have eaten that last bite
Splash on porcelain

Cool, damp cloth to head
Warm pajamas, snug in bed
Teeth brushed, lights out
