Running in the rain

I ran in the rain today. If you know me, you know I don't like rain. I don't like to be cold, first off; and I don't like to wear wet clothing.

But I ran in the rain, and it was good. My knees are hurting me, not a lot but a little. I found a dollar on my run today, lying wet and sad on the ground. I put it in my pocket and took it home.

And I splashed in puddles. That was my favourite part.

I hope you put the dollar bill in the dryer with your wet clothes. I didn't run today but tomorrow I must.... (hmmm.... I like the look of this dailymile thing....)

:) You're taking this seriously!

So what's your running rain gear? do you do anything different?

Mosey, DM is awesome. So supportive and helpful. If you sign up there, look me up.

Dawn, I don't have any gear that is specific to the rain; I'd like to get some eventually though. I'm running in either yoga pants or nylon shorts (the kind cyclists wear); I do have a couple tops and a little running jacket that are that fancy material that keeps water away from your skin, which is super nice.

I don't do much different in the rain, except be more careful. One of my running buddies took a bad spill the first time he went out in the rain and bloodied his knee up, so I tend to watch for mud and gunk on the ground.
