I hate cough syrup. And I hate medicine. The people who make "cherry" flavoured cough syrup must never have actually eaten a real cherry. It is thick and sticky, and leaves a horrible aftertaste, and it tastes like ass.
But... you must like Buckley's, right? It's the bestest in the whole world. I drink it straight from the bottle
